TABLE OF CONTENTS
What are learning teams
Each learning team gets its own space inside Discussion channels. You can set up teams by letting the platform randomize them, or by uploading a file that assigns specific learners to specific teams.
How to set up learning teams
- Open the Learning journey
- Go to "Discussion channels"
- Click "Set up learning teams"
- Select "Randomize teams" or "Upload file"
Randomize teams
- Set the team size
- Click "Save"
Learners are split into teams automatically.
Upload file
- Click "Download template"
- Fill in the template and upload the completed file
- Review the results: "Errors", "Missing a team", "Not in this journey," and "Assigned to a team"
- Fix any rows under "Errors" or "Missing a team" and upload the file again
- Click "Set up" once every learner has a team
"Set up" stays disabled until every learner on the journey has a team assigned
Manage existing learning teams
Once a journey has learning teams set up, the entry button changes to "Manage learning teams"
To reset learning teams:
- Click "Reset"
- Click "Confirm" in the dialog that appears
Known limitations
Resetting learning teams removes any manual team changes made since teams were last set up or randomized, with no way to undo this
