Release date: July 6, 2026

This release adds a second certificate template and a learner completion email. It also resolves a range of journey and visual issues.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. Certificate templates

A second template — Classic — is now available in the certificate editor alongside the existing Professional template. This aims to give admins more flexibility in how certificates are presented to learners.

For admins

Select Change template in the certificate editor to choose between the two available templates:

  • Classic — portrait format with a header logo, journey title, dates, and up to two signatories.
  • Professional — portrait format with a description field and up to three signatories.

Switching template clears all current field values.

At the Review before publishing step, the certificate now appears as a summary line alongside learning items, learners, and completion criteria.

If certificates are enabled but the template has not been configured, Publish is blocked. You can either select Set up certificate to complete setup, or Disable certificate to remove the certificate from the journey before publishing.

2. Certificate completion email

Learners now receive an email when they complete a journey that has a certificate enabled. This aims to make the certificate easy to find immediately after completing a journey.

For learners

When a learner completes a journey, they receive one email personalised with their first name and the journey title. Clicking "See certificate" takes them directly to their Certificate page.

3. Bug fixes

Since the June 2026 release, we've also resolved the following:

Admin fixes:

  • Fixed the download button missing on the items page within section insights.
  • Fixed start and end time dropdowns in webinars and seminars rendering incorrectly.
  • Fixed multiple visual styling issues across the platform, including the user avatar placeholder, collection hero, onboarding layout, and assignment rows.

Learner fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where completing a reflection did not mark the course page as complete.
  • Fixed the Journey progress box showing the wrong "up next" item when viewing a section — it now always reflects the learner's actual next item across the journey.
  • Fixed broken layout for embedded video and audio content in on-demand learnings.
  • Fixed the certificate completion banner not appearing on the journey page for learners who had reached 100% completion.
