Release date: June 8, 2026

This release introduces journey certificates, allowing learners to receive a personalised certificate when they complete a journey. It also includes platform reliability improvements and a range of bug fixes.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. Journey certificates

Admins can now create a branded certificate for any journey. When a learner completes all required items, they receive a personalised certificate that they can view and download as a PDF. This aims to give learners a meaningful record of their achievement and support learning journeys that require proof of completion.

For admins

Certificates are off by default and can be enabled per journey from Journey Settings

We recommend setting up the certificate content before enabling it. If enabled without any fields filled in, learners will be able to download a certificate showing only their name.

Once the journey is published, the certificate setting can no longer be changed — so make sure certificates are configured before publishing.

When clicking "Edit certificate", you are redirected to the certificate editor to build a branded certificate. This release introduces the Professional template — more templates are planned for an upcoming release.

The editor includes a live preview alongside the fields you're editing. You can configure:

  • Journey title, dates, and description
  • Up to three signatories, each with name, title, institution, and signature image
  • Up to two logo sections, each with organisation name

Empty fields are hidden in the preview. The learner's name appears as a placeholder and is filled in dynamically when the certificate is issued. You can download a test PDF at any time by entering a sample name.

For learners

A banner appears on the journey page once the completion criteria are met. It links directly to the Certificate page, where you can view and download your certificate as a PDF.

2. Improvements

Since the April 2026 release, we've also improved the following:

  • Improved stability when navigating the platform.
  • Improved the mailing service, reducing confusion for journey participants.

3. Bug fixes

Since the April 2026 release, we've also resolved the following:

Admin fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where page edits were not saved.
  • Fixed an issue where changes to learning team members could not be saved.
  • Fixed a missing level field in the assessment editor.
  • Fixed an issue where content could not be added or edited at the bottom of certain pages.
  • Fixed an issue where enrolling learners in a live event set an incorrect status.
  • Fixed missing email notifications when adding participants to live events.
  • Fixed an issue where section-level completion data was missing from the Insights page.
  • Fixed incorrect learner counts in Insights tabs.
  • Fixed intermittent failures when importing Coursera content.
  • Fixed an issue where bullet points copied from Word did not display correctly.

Learner fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where journey progress did not reach 100% after all items were completed.
  • Fixed an issue where submitting a reflection did not mark the page as complete.
  • Fixed the Journey progress box to show the correct completion metric.
  • Fixed a redirect issue where clicking a platform link while logged out showed a loading spinner instead of the login page
