Managing a user's learning progress

Created by Clara Magalhães, Modified on Wed, 13 May at 3:25 PM by Clara Magalhães

From a user's profile, administrators can manually mark a learning item as complete or clear a user's progress on an item. This is useful when a learner has completed a learning item but the platform has not registered the completion.

Both actions are available from the "Progress" table on any user's profile page.

⚠️Before you act

Use this only when a learning item is not registering a completion it should have received. Completing an item can trigger section and journey completion, and generate a certificate.
There is no single undo — reversing a mistake requires several manual steps. Double-check the user and item before confirming.

Create a completion

Use this to mark a learning item as 100% complete for a specific user.

  1. Go to "People" and open the user's profile
  2. Find the learning item in the list
  3. Click "..." at the end of the row
  4. Select "Create completion"
  5. Select "Confirm" in the modal that appears

The item will immediately update to 100% progress, and a completion timestamp will be recorded.

Void a user's progress

Use this to clear a user's existing progress on a learning item.

  1. Go to "People" and open the user's profile
  2. Find the learning item in the list
  3. Click "..." at the end of the row
  4. Select "Void progress"
  5. Confirm the action when prompted

The progress record for that item will be removed.
