This article explains how to remove learners from a Learning Journey and how to permanently delete their participation records if needed.
Removing a learner
Go to the Admin view
Open the relevant Journey
Select the “Learners” tab
Click the trashcan icon next to the learner you want to remove
Removing a learner deletes their progress data from the Learning Journey. However, this removal is soft—if you add the learner back later, their individual course progress within the journey will still be available.
Deleting Participation Records
To permanently erase a learner’s participation data:
Go to People > Users > [User]
Locate the relevant learning items
Click the ellipsis menu on the right
Select “Void progress” for each item
This action permanently removes the learner’s records for those items.
Important Note
Deleting a learner from a Learning Journey does not remove their historical progress data unless it is manually voided at the user level. Use caution before performing these actions if you need to retain records for reporting or compliance.
