How to create an E-learning

Create an E-learning item to give participants quick access to an E-learning package.
 

  1. In the Admin view, Content tab, select Create and choose E-learning from the drop-down menu.

  2. Fill in the required fields, and upload an image.

    Title: The title of the learning item (80 characters)


    Teaser: A short description (200 characters) used to entice learners and give a sneak peek at the learning item. The first few lines of the learning item description can be used. 


Image: (Max 4MB 1280 x 720px )The image will appear on the ‘card’ attached to the learning item and in the header/description page. It is used for easy identification, item differentiation, and to incite interest. 


Description: A short summary of the significant learning experiences and outcomes of the learning item. It should be clear, concise, and easy for the learner to understand what is expected of them, and what benefits are gained from engaging with the learning item.


Category/subject: Choose up to 3 subjects across all categories the item belongs in

Space: Where the learning item will be available for everyone in your organization. 

Language: Indicate which language the learning item will be primarily delivered in. E.g. English, Swedish, Lithuanian.


Content owner: The name of the person/s who is/are responsible for maintaining the quality/integrity of the learning content. This is the main contact when content needs to be reviewed and updated.


Additional Connected People:  Add people/roles connected to the learning item. Each person is added using their email as identification. Roles to choose between are Subject Matter Expert, Learning Facilitator, and Moderator.


User visibility:
    
Hidden: Participants cannot search or view the learning item in the Catalog 
    Visible: Participants can search and view the learning item in the Catalog
    Featured: The learning item is visible and ranks higher in the search results



  1. Upload the HTML5 e-learning package by choosing Select File and browsing the exported package made in the 3rd party authoring tool. (max. file size 1GB) 


Note: The name of the e-learning package will be shown as the preview

  1. Save. 


The E-Learning is now created. 


You can preview the E-learning description page by following the link to view. 


E-Learning packages will open in another tab when Learners open them. This is to ensure a full-width experience.
